IT'S RACE WEEK!!

Whether it's your 1st Ultra or your 21st Ultra, the Titletown Ultra Series team is working hard to get YOU the best ultra running experience on June 29, 2018.

PACKET PICKUP
 

TIME:          FRIDAY: 3PM - 6PM

                   SATURDAY: 3:30AM - 5AM
 

LOCATION: Start/Finish Line
                   Shorewood Golf Course

                   2420 Nicolet Dr, Green Bay, Wisconsin - MAP 
 

From the main entrance to the University, follow the parking signs to the golf club’s parking lot..

 

RACE PACKETS:
What will each runner receive in their race packet?
 

  • Bib and pins

  • Short-sleeve tech shirt

  • A multifunctional bandana made in the USA by Hoorag



PRE-ORDERED ITEMS:
If you ordered a sweatshirt or tanktop when you registered, they will be available for you when you pick up your race packet.

RACE DAY

START time is sunrise, 5:10AM
We will be very strict about this. We need to give the 15.5 Hour Summer Solstice Challenge runners every minute of daylight before the sun sets at 8:40PM!

DEALING WITH THE HEAT:

Yes...it's going to be HOT...it's always HOT however, we are ready for it. AS2 will have micro towels available to dip into ice water to help keep you cool.
Start/Finish and AS2 will have cooling tubs available after 8AM for you to dunk in, as needed.
As you are running, take care of yourself, but also watch out for your fellow runners.


ON-COURSE FOOD AND HYDRATION - WE ARE CUPLESS!!!

HYDRATION:

We will have loads of ice, water and Tailwind located at all aid stations!

There are THREE well-stocked Aid Stations on the 4.75 mile loop. The Start/Finish aid station will have many of the ultra ‘staple’ items including, PBJ sandwiches, chips, oranges, bananas, soda...etc. Watermelon will only be available at AS1  and AS2 will have have some food items

We are cupless again this year! At least, partially. We will NOT have cups at AS1 and AS2, so be sure to have your preferred hydration system of choice on hand.


POST-RACE FOOD

Each runner will receive a complimentary lunch or dinner after they finish


Meals will be available inside the Shorewood Golf Course Clubhouse. That is directly behind  the Finish area. You will receive a meal  ticket with your finishers’ mug when you hand in your race chip.

Meals are provided by Titletown, you do not need to leave a tip.

Vegetarian and gluten free post-race meals available - ask inside.


FINISHERS’ AWARD:

All runners will receive a 2019 finisher's mug made by Sunset Hill Stoneware in Neenah, Wisconsin, upon finishing their event.

MASSAGE

Complements of our Sponsor: Christine Wolf and Restore U Solutions, on-site massage will be available from 7AM - 9PM to help keep you running.

COMMON SENSE RULES

RUNNERS:

Be courteous and obey any requests from race officials and volunteers.

NO LITTERING! Throwing trash on the course will IMMEDIATELY disqualify you from the race.

Be kind to our Volunteers! They are there to help, and they are AWESOME. :)

Medical staff will be available at both the Start/Finish and at Aid Station 2 throughout the day.

NO STROLLERS OR DOGS ARE ALLOWED ON COURSE.


CREW:

Be courteous and obey any requests from race officials and volunteers..

Crew must review and be familiar with ALL rules.

Crew is NOT allowed IN the aid stations.

Aid station supplies and food are for runners only. Crew must bring their own supplies.

Porta-potties are for runners only. Crew should use the restrooms inside the Shorewood Clubhouse.

Crew may only park in authorized areas and must not obstruct traffic or other runners.

Crew may only support runner and pacer within 100 feet of an official aid station.

Crew may not set up Friday.

At the start/finish area, crew must set up past the aid station tent so there is no interference with lap counting.


PACERS - ONLY allowed for the 15.5 Hour.

Please register at the main event tent (start/finish line) prior to pacing your runner. All pacers must complete and sign a medical and release form. If a pacer is under 18 years old, he or she will need a guardian to sign on their behalf.

Pacing is allowed after 2:00PM.

Only one pacer with runner at any given time.

Pacers will stay with runner at all times: no running ahead to fill bottles, get food or drop bag.

Pacers are a companion, not a mule for runner supplies.

There will be no charge for pacers in this event and each will have full access to each aid station while pacing. Please note that pacers will not be eligible for any awards, as they are not considered official runners
