The 8 Hour Ultra Run starts at sunrise (5:09 a.m.) and will end at 1:09 p.m. Results will be calculated based on how many loops you can run in that time! Laps will be counted for each competitor, and information about each runner’s progress will be available during the run. Runners may stop to rest and restart running as they please.

5:09 a.m. - Race Start
1:09 p.m. - Course closes for 8 Hour
University of Wisconsin Green Bay Campus. 2420 Nicolet Dr, Green Bay, Wisconsin. We will start in the Parking Lot at Shorewood Golf Course.
We will be running a 4.75 mile loop around the UWGB campus. The trail consists of sections of crushed limestone (45%), wood chips (50%) and asphalt (5%). The wood chipped sections contain some hilly portions, but are easy on the legs.
Start Time: 5:09 a.m. - 8 Hour runners will start at the same time as the 15.5 Hour and 6 Hour runners.
Aid Stations / Food: This is a GREEN event!
Each participant is required to carry a water bottle/hydration pack. We will provide Tailwind and water on the course. There will be some great ultra staples available at the start/finish line. You will pass this point every 4.75 miles.
Aid Station 1 is at mile .9 - Will have water/Tailwind AND our famous watermelon!
Aid Station 2 is at mile 2.6 - Will have water/Tailwind as well as towels for you to soak in ice water
Start/Finish Aid Station is at Mile 4.75 - Will be stocked with the usual assortment of snacks, pretzels, bananas, cookies, water and Tailwind.
Massage: The Start/Finish area will have a massage tent available for all our runners from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., courtesy of our sponsor, Restore U Solutions and Christine Wolf.
Swag and Awards:
We all love event goodies! And, that is why each registered participant will receive a short sleeve-tech shirt and a 10L waterproof drop-bag. Additionally, upon finishing, runners will receive a locally handcrafted coffee mug made by Sunset Hill Stoneware in Neenah, Wisconsin.
EARN EXTRA SWAG!!!
Not included but may be earned! Every runner who completes more than 50 Miles in the 8 Hour or 15.5 Hour events will also EARN a nice, thick 1/4 zip athletic top and a '50M' or '100K' patch to commemorate your accomplishment! You only earn the shirt once. If you earned a shirt in 2017, 2018, or 2019, you will earn a second, third, (or fourth) '50M' or '100K' patch in 2020.
Top 5 Male and top 5 Female of each event will receive a special award.
Pacer / Crew Information
Be courteous and obey any requests from race officials.
Crew must review and be familiar with ALL rules.
Crew must be courteous while using porta-potties (runners first).
Crew may only park in authorized areas.
Crew may only support runner and pacer within 100 feet of an official aid station.
Crew must allow participants to receive aid before getting supplies for their runner.
At the start/finish area, crew must set up past the aid station tent so there is no interference with lap counting.
RULES violations could result in your runner receiving a disqualification.
Pacers are NOT allowed for the 8 Hour event.
Refunds, Deferrals or Transfers
This event will be held regardless of the weather conditions! There are NO refunds or deferrals for this event, you may however transfer your bib to another runner before June 20, 2020.
